As you may of heard Sen. Lindsey Graham has caused quite the uproar (and deservedly so) over his anti-free speech stance in defense of the Quran in the wake of  Pastor Terry Jones setting one ablaze.

(Politico) — Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.), a military lawyer, is the first member of Congress to say the legislature needs to explore the possibility, however unlikely, of limiting some kinds of free speech — like Terry Jones’ Quran burning — that help America’s enemies.

“I wish we could find a way to hold people accountable. Free speech is a great idea, but we’re in a war,” he told CBS’s Bob Schieffer on “Face the Nation.”

“During World War II, we had limits on what you could do if it inspired the enemy,” Graham said, adding that he wanted to do “anything we can to push back here in America against acts like this that put our troops at risk.”

Ann Barnhardt‘s vlog presentation below in rebuttal to Graham’s outrageous dhimmitude, and her putting the Quran on trial sentencing it to die a fiery death (as did Jones) defines “push back”. Her bravery is to be admired, her speech inspiring. The cowardly Graham on the other hand defines “push back” as bowing in deference to the evil that is Islam. The sworn enemy of the United States, freedom and to be precise –Western Civilization at large.

There is point – counterpoint and then there’s point – counter PUNCH. The below is the later.

“Pick a fight with me [Lindsey], but the only way it ends is with you sobbing in the mens room”

Salute!

If only Lindsey Graham was half the man Congressman Allen West is, there might be a glimmer of hope. But alas…not even close.

And in regards to Graham’s erroneous claim:

“During World War II, we had limits on what you could do if it inspired the enemy,” Graham said, adding that he wanted to do “anything we can to push back here in America against acts like this that put our troops at risk.”

Brutally Honest has taken the time to showcase a few glaring examples to the contrary:

Senator Graham should do some research on what WWII limits were placed on that which could inspire the enemy. I did and quickly found a number of posters that I’m guessing many like Graham would find offensive today… each of what follows was subsidized by the United States government

Graham is not only a weak, yellow streaked appeasing coward who truth be told is guilty of aiding and abetting the ‘enemy’ against the country he has sworn to defend. He is also a world class idiot or a sniveling liar – unfit for office. You decide. Either works for me. Or as Steyn so succinctly put it a “wretched buffoon“.

To which I concur.

Did anyone ever think that perhaps Muslim violence around the world set off a Qur’an burning & not the other way around?

A very astute observation. And what causes Muslim violence? The Quran of course.

So there you have it.

Burn, evil burn. Rot in hell and take your hounds of hell with you.

That is all.

VH out.

Barnhardt is the one who needs to do more research on World War Two. She has been so busy in her rant against Graham that I doubt if she has ever heard of the Smith Act passed by congress in 1940 on the eve of World War Two. This act limited freedom of speech and freedom of expression. It made it a crime to distribute written materials or make speeches in a way to cause insubordination or refusal of duty in the Armed Forces. It also made it a crime to teach or advocate the overthrow of the government by force. In addition mail of service men was censored, and there was also forced internment of Japanese Americans.

      Smith Act of 1940

The Alien Registration Act of 1940, usually called the Smith Act because the antisedition section was authored by Representative Howard W. Smith of Virginia, was adopted at 54 Statutes at Large 670-671 (1940).

§ 2385. Advocating Overthrow of Government.

Whoever knowingly or willfully advocates, abets, advises, or teaches the duty, necessity, desirability, or propriety of overthrowing or destroying the government of the United States or the government of any State, Territory, District or Possession thereof, or the government of any political subdivision therein, by force or violence, or by the assassination of any officer of any such government; or

Whoever, with intent to cause the overthrow or destruction of any such government, prints, publishes, edits, issues, circulates, sells, distributes, or publicly displays any written or printed matter advocating, advising, or teaching the duty, necessity, desirability, or propriety of overthrowing or destroying any government in the United States by force or violence, or attempts to do so; or

Whoever organizes or helps or attempts to organize any society, group, or assembly of persons who teach, advocate, or encourage the overthrow or destruction of any such government by force or violence; or becomes or is a member of, or affiliates with, any such society, group, or assembly of persons, knowing the purposes thereof–

Shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than twenty years, or both, and shall be ineligible for employment by the United States or any department or agency thereof, for the five years next following his conviction.

If two or more persons conspire to commit any offense named in this section, each shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than twenty years, or both, and shall be ineligible for employment by the United States or any department or agency thereof, for the five years next following his conviction.

As used in this section, the terms “organizes” and “organize”, with respect to any society, group, or assembly of persons, include the recruiting of new members, the forming of new units, and the regrouping or expansion of existing clubs, classes, and other units of such society, group, or assembly of persons.

How does that apply to burning the Quran? Or putting troops at risk?
      I repeat:

During World War II, we had limits on what you could do if it inspired the enemy,? Graham said,

I disagree with you. AttemptAs to violently overthrow the government or advocate the insubordination of members of the armed forces would certainly put our troops at risk. My father was at D Day in Normandy and all of his mail was censored. He couldn’t even talk about the weather becuase it might aid the enemy. Anything that lowered the morale of our troops put them at risk. If you think there no limits on what one could do during World War 2 you are certainly naive.

Jose, she explains how this is all different from WWII. Actually watching her video and then thinking before you post a comment are both very helpful things…

  4. I hope she really doesn’t think Senator Lindsey Graham or any other self respecting member of congress would waste time listening to the garbage she is spewing. Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer on Good Morning America said that he doubted that burning the Koran was protected under the 1st Amendment. Koran burners are getting more formidable opponents than Lindsey Graham. You don’t yell fire in crowded theater.

Woo hoo! This is awesome! You go Ann! You are a jackass Lindsey Graham! Why do we kowtow to our enemy Islam? Why do we let these people into our country? It would be equivalent to letting Nazis in during WWII. WTF is wrong with this country? We are destroying ourselves in the name of diversity and tolerance.

Muslim Students Urinate, Spit On, Then Burn Bible
If mobs of Christians went on a murderous rampage their victims blood would be on the Muslim’s hands who burned, spit on and urinated on the Bible???
And the Christians whose sensibilities were offended would be innocent???
      Gotcha.
Let’s take it a step further. When ever someone is offended they can proceed to slaughter anyone within their line of vision. The first warm bodies they spot???
Or are you suggesting that we should only concern ourselves with protecting Muslim sensibilities?

muslims do not assimilate into western society, islam is a theocracy and demands supremacy

the twin fogs of political correctness & ignorance must be dispelled before western society realizes what a menace islam & muslims are. even a brief review of islamic theology & history easily shows the evil roots of this deadly ideology

see the links in the pdf version below for more accurate info about islam
    ==========

islam is a horrible ideology for human rights

    5 key things about islam

    1. mythical beliefs – all religions have these (faith) because its part of being a religion: having beliefs without proof until after the believer dies. the problem is people will believe almost anything.

    2. totalitarianism – islam has no seperation of church and state: sharia law governs all. there is no free will in islam: only submission to the will of allah as conveniently determined by the imams who spew vapors to feather their own nests. there are no moderate muslims: they all support sharia law.

    3. violence – islam leads the pack of all religions in violent tenets for their ideology & history: having eternal canonical imperatives for supremacy at all costs and calling for violence & intimidation as basic tools to achieve these goals.

    4. dishonesty – only islam has dishonesty as a fundamental tenet: this stems from allah speaking to mohamhead & abrogation in the koran which is used to explain how mo’s peaceful early life was superseded by his warlord role later.

    5. misogyny – present day islam is still rooted in 8th century social ethics: treating females as property of men good only for children, severely limiting their activities, dressing them in shower curtains and worse.

    conclusions ??

there really are NO redeeming qualities for this muddled pile of propaganda.

islam is just another fascist totalitarian ideology used by power hungry fanatics on yet another quest for worldwide domination and includes all the usual human rights abuses & suppression of freedoms.

Having been a resident of Charleston, SC and having a deep respect for the kind, polite, and patriotic people with whom friendship continues to grow, I have never been able to believe they really knew Lindsey Graham when they elected him to the US Senate.

Or, Sen. Graham became a member of the “McCain Appeasement Club” and completely deserted the persona he displayed to voters, in favor of Sen. MCain’s influence. Taking up residence in WAshington, DC does have its pitfalls.

After all, another Senator from SC, Jim DeMint, is one of the very outstanding Senators in the US Senate. The contrast between DeMint and Graham is like day and night. DeMint is not a follower.

I hope when Sen. Graham’s term is up, the good folks of SC will return him to private practice. It is long overdue.
