Weinergate: Congressman Claims “Facebook Hacked” As Lewd Photo Hits Twitter
Rep. Anthony Weiner (D-NY 9″) finds himself in a late night online pickle.
This evening a photo surfaced on Congressman Weiner’s yfrog account and in his verified Twitter timeline of a man in his underwear with an erection. The photo was reportedly sent to a woman on Twitter. We’ve protected her name and her account, which was at one time verified to be active but has since been deleted after the photo in question was deleted. Coincidentally, the rest of the photos in the congressman’s alleged yfrog account were also deleted around 11 p.m. eastern.
Would an innocent Congressman delete? BTW Gennette’s Facebook account has been deleted too, the pressure and anxiety must of been unnerving
She had been on facebook for a long time… at least October 2, 2007… why delete it overnight?
Why Rep Weiner, why?
As an aside, the Weiner Facebook hack excuse is N/A as Yfrog is connected to Twitter not Facebook.

Interestingly enough I found this tweet by @gennettenicole, recipient of the Weiner Yfrog underwear photo tweet: dated April 9, 2011:

Edit: Looks like I found the tweet just in the nick of time, Topsy has cleared the cache of @gennettenicole’s tweets.
Obviously she was a big Weiner fan at one time (no pun intended, trust me). It is anyone’s guess if she still is.
As previously mentioned her Twitter account was deleted, though she has resurfaced here: http://twitter.com/GennetteNicole in what is now a locked account. Can’t say as I blame her.
As you can see both Twitter profiles are strikingly similar.

Da Tech Guy hit a dead end when trying to contact Rep Weiner’s office:
I took the liberty of calling congressman Weiner’s office, the recorded messaged referred me to a press number to call after hours. I called the number and the gentleman named Joe who answered claimed I had the wrong number so I called back the congressman’s office to confirm the number in question (it was correct) and called the press number again. It now goes directly to voice mail. I left my name and home and cell numbers at both locations, and I’ll let you know if anything pans out, but I found that reaction…interesting.
Yes…interesting…very interesting indeed.
Update 7: About that hack claim.
First, he posted three hours before the alleged hack post, and four minutes after. This means he somehow wrested control back from the hackers quickly. How is this possible? That would be quite a feat, either through password guessing or some sort of Twitter security hole. If it happened, why didn’t we hear about how?
Second, if he lost control of the account, standard Twitter practice is to remove the “Verified Account” status until Twitter can confirm the account is back under the control of the named person. Yet, the @RepWeiner account as of this writing is still Verified.
Third, as pointed out the recipient of the photo is somewhere between Seattle and Vancouver, but that evening Weiner posted on Twitter a note about Seattle time. Funny coincidence, that.

Gennette Nicole Cordova looks just as bad as these other women. I would be surprised if she hadn’t been conversing with the congressman as well. It would make sense, given her obsession with celebrity (news article she wrote) that she would’ve been talking with this creep, as well as the fact that the “545 in Seattle” message was clearly tweeted for her. In that regard, all of them look bad. . .Clearly no regard for Huma’s emotional well being.
