Reverse airport security profiling in the UK.
David Jones a 67 year old British national underwent a maximum security screening, while a Muslim wearing a Burka was able to slither through –unchecked. When he dared to make a little joke about the bassackwards security policy, he was detained for an hour and forced to apologize.
‘I feel my rights as an individual have been violated.
‘What I underwent amounts to intimidation, unlawful arrest and detention. I was humiliated and denigrated in full public view.
Keep bowing down to the one you serve, and you will get what you deserve --a life of PURE Islamic hell.
(Mail Online) –As he placed his scarf and other items into a tray to pass through an X-ray scanner, he quipped to an official: ‘If I was wearing this scarf over my face, I wonder what would happen.’ observing
To his astonishment, he was met on the other side of the barrier by officials who detained him for an hour in an attempt to force him to apologise and the police were called.

Mr Jones said that when he had made his original remark, the guard had appeared to agree with him, responding: ‘I know what you mean, but we have our rules and you aren’t allowed to say that.’

Mr Jones, a former member of the Household Cavalry and a retired fireman, said he had said nothing racist. But she took his passport and boarding pass and escorted him to another area where she questioned him.He said: ‘It was impossible to get her to listen to reason. We were then joined by a second female security guard who stated that she was Muslim and was deeply distressed by my comment.
‘I again stated that I had not made a racist remark but purely an observation that we were in a maximum security situation being searched thoroughly while a woman with her face covered walked through.

After about 20 minutes, he asked the security guard whether he was going to be charged. She said no, but he could not leave until he apologised.He demanded that the officer should arrest him if there was a case against him. Mr Jones said: ‘I was told that we now live in a different time and some things are not to be said.’

The security protocols that have been put in place both there and in the U.S. have done little to decrease travel risk, much to decrease travelers rights and freedoms and more to increase intimidation and police state control. What is absolutely ridiculous is to put these protocols in place and then immediately exempt any group from them, particularly Muslims who should be a target group for their terrorist activities. Even the reasoning, religious sensitivity, for these allowances doesn’t hold water. You can be sure that Catholic nuns are not afforded the same deference wearing their habits and at least your can see their faces and know they actually are women. In the full covering of a burka, who the hell knows what is hidden? We are paying billions of dollars in taxes to be treated like enemies in our own country while appeasing, apologizing and cowaring to Islam. When rules do not apply to all fairly they should be denounced a lot louder than this mans simple, truthful, humorous observation and dispensed with. It’s called discrimination and an affront to his civil rights. I hope he will take legal action regarding his unfair treatment.

Yes, I’d read that great article back when you posted it. But it’s also common sense identification as well as our own FBI has profiled and trained till the cows come home just how much of a threat is represented. Being an American citizen means integrating into this society, abiding by it’s laws and statutes, an oath of loyalty etc. My opinion is that if they are not willing to do that they should not be granted citizenship nor a visa. Period. That includes anyone from any country of any belief who wishes to stay here so it is not discriminatory in the least. If the Obama administration wants to pander to, apologize to appease and exempt from its own laws and policies only members of one group then they are the ones who are discriminating against everyone else and they should be slapped down for it. WHAP!
