(MyFOXPhoenix.) –PHOENIX – Maricopa County Sheriff’s deputies are working with Knoxville, Tennessee authorities following an investigation into an internet death threat against Sheriff Joe Arpaio.
Deputies served a search warrant at 33-year-old Adam Eugene Cox’s home. A computer and other evidence was seized.

According to MCSO, Cox’s postings stated that the Sheriff and his family would be killed:“I plan to kill Arpaio first. He will be filled with a thousand bullet holes before the year is out. I promise you this. He won’t f*** with Obama. He will be buried 10 feet under and his whole family will be murdered along with him.”
KNOXVILLE (WATE) – A Knoxville man is accused of threatening an Arizona sheriff who is investigating claims President Barack Obama wasn’t born in the U.S.

The threat, which was sent in October 2011, mentions the sheriff and his family.

“The suspect’s mother confirms her son is a fanatical supporter of Obama.”Local authorities say Cox has a history of assault.

Update: Sheriff Joe will not back down.
(AZ Central) –”I will not be intimidated against pursuing this investigation into Obama’s eligibility to serve as the President of the United States,” Arpaio said in a Friday news release.
Update 2: The left wing extremist posted the death threats on a blog titled; ‘Targeting Cops’. Sheriff Joe was not the only ‘target’. Sounds like Occupy material to me.
(Arizona Family) –SANTA CLARA, Calif. — Detectives with the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office served search warrants on Google Wednesday in an effort to find out who created a website displaying death threats against Sheriff Joe Arpaio.
The website in question is blog titled “Targeting Cops” and it lauded cop killers, calling them “heroes.”
Last week, there was a photo of Deputy William Coleman, who was killed in the line of duty earlier this month, with “Officer Down, LOL” (laugh out loud) emblazoned across it. While calling the deputy a “Gestapo pig,” the author or authors of the blog praised Drew Maras, the man who shot and killed him, as a “hero.”
The site later had a photo of Arpaio with the words “Wanted: Dead or Alive” with the “dead” underlined and the “alive” crossed out. According to MCSO, the blog also said, “You’re next Joe, watch your back, [expletive deleted].”
Arpaio said the blog was “disgusting” and “deeply offensive” toward all law enforcement, especially those killed in the line of duty. [...]

This intriguing news is from back in September 2010:
Six months prior to this investigation the Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency (ICE) had already conducted its own investigation of sheriff Arpaio’s office and not only gave it a clean bill of health, they actually gave a raving review. The report said things like “The OI and DRO supervisors consider the conduct and performance of the MCSO … officers to be professional and meeting the requirement of the MOA.” And that they considered the working relationship between the feds and the sheriff’s office to be “excellent” and that cases brought by the sheriff’s office to be “high quality.”
The DOJ then got caught with its pants down when more government documents were uncovered under the Freedom of Information Act that suggests politics may be at the root of the investigation. Sheriff Arpaio’s lawyers found a March 11, 09 e-mail, that was sent just after the Justice Department investigation was announced, from an Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency employee to John P. Torres who was at the time the acting assistant secretary of ICE. The email said: “Did you see this?” attaching a news report on the investigation. “Yes,” Torres responded a few minutes later. “Interesting politics at play.”
Hmm…
Also interesting, is that Darrell Issa’s Fast and Furious investigation with Eric Holder as the star witness is raging forward, full steam ahead. Most notably Holder’s most recent testimony was just seven days before Holder’s DOJ dropped the bomb on Joe.
Hmm…
And lest we forget, the Obama DOJ’s dismissal of the New Black Panther voter intimidation case and dropping terror indictments on Hamas front CAIR.
Obama DOJ: Fast and Furious deaths, militant thugs intimidating voters, and looking the other way on CAIR terror finance, are all just fine and dandy.
But dare go after illegal alien criminals who just so happen to be predominantly brown (it’s the geographical demographics stupid!) off with your head!
Exit question: What if Arizona shared a border with a country where the majority of it’s citizens were white?
Or better yet what if there were far more illegal Canadians entering the US than Mexicans? Because Mexico was a dream and Canada was an extreme hell hole like Mexico is?
