The title of [Ed] Klein’s explosive, unauthorized bio of Obama, “The Amateur” (Regnery Publishing), was taken directly from Bill Clinton’s bombshell criticism of the president, the author said.“Barack Obama,” Bill Clinton said, according to book excerpts, “is an amateur.”
The withering criticism is incredible, given the fact that Bill Clinton is actively campaigning for Obama’s re-election.
But according to the book, Bill Clinton unloaded on Obama and pressed Hillary to run against her boss during a gathering in the ex-president’s home office in Chappaqua last August that included longtime friends, Klein said.
“The economy’s a mess, it’s dead flat. America has lost its Triple-A rating . . . You know better than Obama does,” Bill said.

(MSNBC AP) –DETROIT –A young Muslim woman said she and another woman were refused seats directly behind Barack Obama — and in front of TV cameras — at a Detroit rally because they wear head scarfs.
Hebba Aref said Wednesday that she and Shimaa Abdelfadeel were among 20,000 supporters who gathered to see Obama on Monday at the Joe Louis Arena when the groups they were with were separately invited by Obama campaign volunteers to sit behind the podium. But Aref said the volunteers told members of both parties in separate discussions that women wearing hijabs, the traditional Muslim head scarves, weren’t included in the invitation and couldn’t sit behind the podium.
Aref, a 25-year-old lawyer, said a member of her group was told by a volunteer that she could not invite Aref because of “a sensitive political climate.”
Obama spokesman Bill Burton issued a statement saying such actions are “not the policy of the campaign.”

Aref said she replied by thanking Burton, but requested Obama apologize directly to her and Abdelfadeel, as well as invitations to sit behind him at a future campaign event. Obama spokeswoman Amy Brundage said the campaign has apologized.

Update:
(Dayton Daily News) –VCU police reported that a heckler was removed from the arena, taken outside and released. A police dispatcher didn’t know what the woman had yelled.
According to a White House pool report, photographers observed a woman wearing a black burka being escorted out of the gym by Richmond police and other security officials. The woman appeared to be wearing U.S. military pins and was carrying book. She cooperated with police, according to the report.

I want to KNOW what he/she/it yelled, immediately, if not sooner. I am sick to death of the news being reported through a filter. The Obama campaign event was crawling with media and not one has the guts to report the full details. Get up off of your knees!

Finally! A news report. Which just so happens to mention moi. Even better, it is reported on CBS 6 WTVR straight out of –Richmond.

RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) Today CBS 6 learned that a woman had to be removed from President Obama’s rally at the Siegel Center yesterday.
We found a picture online at the website Ironic Surrealism.
In it you can see two Richmond Police officers confronting a woman wearing a black burka.
According to VCU Police Chief John Venuti, he/she was not arrested and the Secret Service is investigating.

Update 4: WTVR has updated with a raw video clip of the police escorting the person out of VCU’s Siegel Center.
VCU journalism professor Vivian Medina-Messner shot the video which captures the woman screaming something as police escort her from the building.

I saw this person outside before the rally and inside being carried out. She was wearing a head covering but she was also wearing capri leggings, it struck me as odd. When I saw her being escorted out, she was kicking and screaming and the police eventually had to carry her out.

CBS 6 reporter Sam Brock spoke with two witnesses, one who shot the video.

“See, you can’t really tell what she was saying,” said VCU journalism professor Vivian Medina-Messner, who captured the video.
She saw the situation begin to unfold.
“I was shooting the video of the rally, and then I heard someone scream in the background,” said Medina-Messner. “And she was really, really loud.”
“She seemed really, really upset,” she said. “I have no idea what language she speaks, and I couldn’t understand what she was saying.”
Medina-Messner describes a brief ‘struggle’ with VCU police before the woman is escorted out.
The VCU police department referred us to the Secret Service, the agency now handling the investigation.
Calls to the Secret Service have not been returned.
There was some speculation that the woman removed could have been screaming the word, ‘Allah’, and then ‘Obama,’ but Medina-Messner said that’s not what she heard. [...]
